In 1985, Geri Ann earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Millikin University in Decatur, IL, and became an RN, fulfilling a desire to enter nursing. Upon learning of the opportunities for advanced practice nursing, she set a goal of becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Over the next 25 years, Geri Ann gained a variety of hospital experience as an RN, including cardiac care, newborn nursery, and mother-baby care, in addition to honing primary care skills as a camp nurse. Geri Ann then earned a master’s degree from UT-Tyler, becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner and accomplishing her long-held dream.
Geri Ann is particularly interested in how inner strength and problem solving affect patient well-being. She and her husband have 4 grown children. She enjoys working with young children, singing, and quilting.

Hi, my name is Corey Schmidt. For more than eight years, I have been a licensed vocational nurse at Oak Hills Family Practice and Med Spa. I love being an aesthetic nurse because it allows me to help people feel more confident in their own skin. We address their concerns about how they look and feel from the outside in. I am passionate about educating my patients and providing them with the information they need to make the best decisions regarding their treatment plan and options. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing sports, watching movies, listening to music, traveling, and looking for the next adventure in life.
Spa manager and coordinator for the BeautiFill® platform at Oak Hills Med Spa, Amanda has been in the spa industry for nine years. She settled here in East Texas via Houston, TX. She strives to deliver exceptional client care and tries to leave a little sparkle everywhere she goes.
